Kaya Fukin (蚊帳ふきん）Kitchen Cloth/Floral

A traditional cloth made from mosquito net fabric, carefully woven in Nara—the last remaining mosquito net production area in Japan—and embroidered or printed in Wakayama.

Made with seven layers of fabric, it is initially stiff due to starch but softens and shrinks when rinsed in warm or hot water, revealing a light, fluffy texture. Highly absorbent (1.3× more than cotton), quick-drying, and durable—perfect for wiping kitchen surfaces or drying dishes.
